Profile System

There are dozens of u-PVC window profiles brands, all of them offering products similar to each other. Though different companies use different advertising strategy to emphasize their uniqueness in one way or another, the fact is that all the systems have generally common set of features concerning their physical and mechanical properties, and it's only the external outlook that makes the difference for the final user. Nevertheless, not all of brands can face up to every challenge. The main thing that differentiates the systems among themselves is the range of possible applications; it is the question of the market specifics whether or not given solution meets its expectations. There are system suppliers that sell their profiles in really huge amounts, but only in one solution. Example: Polish housing estates, built thirty years ago, where all windows belong to the specific set of typical dimensions, need only several types of  them to have replaced. Therefore the manufacturer working in this field exclusively and hence having low price for necessary profiles, which in fact amount to one type of frame, sash, bead and mullion, can produce thousands of units, needing only these particular elements. They never make anything in color other than white. That's why there are systems aimed at fulfilling demands of big producers, so they can make really big turnover without offering any alternative solutions. On the other hand there are systems designed for more demanding clients, and they hardly ever replace anything typical. They maintain high quality and aim at richer customers who can afford it.

The next issue is of geographical nature. Not all of the systems are present everywhere in the world, and none of them have all elements that are used everywhere. There are various construction types in different regions, and it depends not only on climate conditions, but also on other issues, like given country's custom. For example most of windows in Great Britain are hung (vertically sliding), though this type doesn't ensure good thermal insulation in spite of the fact that not all of the days during the year are sunny out there. In France, due to their way of building houses, there are "monobloc" or "renovation" frames, whose internal surface is aligned with the wall. It may seem ridiculous for us, but there are no internal windowsills there.

Warm and silent:

  • poor heat conductivity
  • multi-chamber construction
  • two or three seals
  • double glazing with space filled with argon gas
  • Low Emission coating applied onto inner glass pane surface reflects long wave infrared energy

Durable: no rotting, twisting or warping. Tough and rigid - reinforced with steel Low maintenance: no need for painting or renovating, easy cleaning. High recyclability
