Manufacturing Process
Our windows are fabricated from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride profiles produced by extrusion. The PVC-U profiles are cut to length and then weep holes are drilled. In all cases, no matter the length, galvanized steel reinforcement sections are inserted and fixed by self-drilling screws. This is the Polish Certificate's demand, as opposite to Thyssen catalog instructions, which conditions using reinforcement steel profiles on given elements length and color; up to certain length in white profiles it is not required at all. Elements are fusion-welded and the joints are cleaned by purpose made machine. After mechanical installation of mullions and transoms the windows are fitted with specific types of mechanisms comprising the espagnolette type locking system, hinges and tilt stays, all formed from zinc-plated steel. The mechanism incorporates locking pins which engage with strikers fixed to frame. Glazing using double glass units completes the process.
